Surprising Performance

I have many years of handgun experience. One of the tests I perform with handguns is how well they point from holster to a triple tap. I tested the 40 VE against my Sig Pro, which is a very accurate and reliable pistol, but a bit large and heavy. First, at 15 feet, with a 9 black center target, I drew and front sighted the Sigma on the target and fired the 3 shots...estimated time was 1.5 seconds...I was shocked to see the three shots triangled into the black center of the target about 4.5 apart, since you have no precise sense of shot placement in such a short time. The Sig Pro in the same drill, hit two in the black and one way low that knocked the target over. The Sigma was, by far, imho, the best pointer. It is also lighter, and fits my hand much more naturally...5 stars for the Sigma!

Not much can be said about a Smith & Wesson firearm that hasn''t been heard before. Well made and a comfortable fit. Accurate right out of the box. I shot 250 shells and the largest grouping was 4 1/4 from 50 yards away. Proven time and again, Smith & Wesson firearms are hard to beat.

ive had my 40ve s&w now for 2years and never had a jam . its very easy to clean amunition is pretty cheap for the 40s&w rd. use it for home protection and travel. the trigger pull is a bit heavy but gets lighter the more you use ur weapon and with pratice gets even better.great buy for the price thanxs s&w
